TCQA
Technical Committee on Quality Assurance in Testing and Calibration
The TCQA is a horizontal committee composed of one or two experts from the EUROLAB Active and Associated Members. The Committee may also invite representatives from the EUROLAB stakeholders.
The committee shall have a chairman and secretary. The chairman is responsible for inviting to and chairing the meetings of the committee. The secretary is responsible for administrative matters, such as writing the minutes of the meetings etc.
The Committee will periodically provide activity reports and the necessary input of laboratory experience and expertise to the EUROLAB Board of Administrators in the quality assurance field. In more detail, the tasks of the EUROLAB Technical Committee on Quality Assurance are:

to deal with economic and technical issues regarding Quality Assurance in conformity assessment activities

to support laboratories in developing and maintaining a reasonable quality assurance operation

to collect, analyse and develop knowledge in this field
-
to share experience gained by laboratories in operating QA systems and make these systems more effective

to identify training and educational needs
-
to plan workshops as well as to produce technical reports and educational material
-
to request the harmonization of accreditation procedures, the implementation of ISO/IEC 17025 and a broad and suitable application of flexible scope
-
to lead any activities related to the EUROLAB representation in ISO CASCO WGs
