World Standards Day 2025

Today, the members of the European Quality Infrastructure Network CEN, CENELEC, EA, EURAMET, EUROLAB, PROSAFE and WELMEC mark the World Standards Day 2025 with the publication of a joint press release available here.

We are celebrating the vital role of partnerships in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year’s theme, "Partnerships for the Goals" (SDG 17), highlights how collaboration is the key driver for progress across all other goals. Standards are at the heart of this effort. EUROLAB and the other members of EQIN reaffirm our joint commitment to building a sustainable and resilient future  for Europe. Through strengthened partnerships, they will continue to uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability – for the benefit of citizens, businesses, and society as a whole.
