Lab of the Future European focus group meeting, online on 26 March.

Alongside consortium partners EfVET, we successfully held the Lab of the Future European focus group meeting, online on 26 March.

The meeting, organised to gain feedback at European level, gathered lab technicians, VET trainers and teachers, as well as formal and non-formal training providers to share their views on the challenges to implement digitalisation practices in their training environments and suggest their recommendations for improvement.

After keynote presentations by Damiano Pietri, President of Metricode, and Daniel Kehl, Principal of GBS Gewerbliches Berufs- und Weiterbildungszentrum St. Gallen, the discussion focused on several critical topics including:
-           The importance of ensuring the integrity of digital systems in place
-           Digital tools already implemented in laboratories
-           Key challenges faced by laboratories and training centres in the digitalisation process
-           Solutions and suggestions to make digital practices more sustainable and inclusive
