Extraordinary General Assembly, National Members Meeting and Accompanying events
EUROLAB held the Extraordinary General Assembly, National Members Meeting and Accompanying events on 11-12 November 2025, kindly hosted by CROLAB in Zadar, Croatia.
The key focus of the discussions revolved around EUROLAB's evolutionary strategy. The strategy seeks to promote the development of EUROLAB by mirroring the already existing structure of our national members and enhancing our representation of the entire conformity assessment community.
On Nov. 11, the Technical Committee for Quality Assurance (TCQA) met to discuss the strategic plan of the four Working Groups, including the key actions, projects and upcoming priorities around digitalisation, accreditation and standardisation, sustainability and revision of technical documents and CookBooks.
On Nov.12, the Board of Administrators and Extraordinary General Assembly approved the decision to suspend the vote on the revised EUROLAB Articles of Association, until the next General Assembly due to legal matters caused by the interference of an external party. This decision was taken in order to give our members sufficient time to resolve any internal challenges resulting from the external pressure they are facing. The Presidency Office, the Secretariat and the EUROLAB Board is available to support the members, with any answers, clarifications and any assistance they may need in solving these internal challenges.
Please find enclosed the EUROLAB President’s statement explaining the current situation.
The General Assembly also approved ROLAB's application to become an Active EUROLAB member. We would like to congratulate and give a warm welcome to ROLAB – The Romanian Laboratory Association!
The meetings concluded with the National Member's Meeting during which Secretary General Laura Martin gave a presentation on EUROLAB's recent activities, achievements and next steps in our evolution.
Thank you to the CROLAB Team for the perfect organisation of the EUROLAB events in Zadar.
