European Quality Infrastructure Network (EQIN) Concept Note

EUROLAB is delighted to announce the publication of the European Quality Infrastructure Network (EQIN) Concept Note.

The EQIN, which was created on 7 March 2024, has the aims to support and enhance the quality, safety and environmental soundness of goods, services, and processes for consumers and businesses.

The Network Partners are organizations that represent, with a unique voice, the key pillars of the European Quality Infrastructure (QI): Metrology (EURAMET), Legal Metrology (WELMEC), Standardization (CEN, CENELEC), Accreditation (EA), Market Surveillance & Product Safety (PROSAFE) and Conformity Assessment (EUROLAB).

The Concept Note provides valuable insights on the QI definition, role and functioning, including the importance of this collaborative Network in strengthening and promoting the QI in Europe.
