EUROLAB Position Paper on the impact and revision of the New Legislative Framework (NLF)

EUROLAB published its Position Paper on the impact and revision of the New Legislative Framework (NLF) on September 29. EUROLAB highlights the importance of the NLF as a key opportunity to focus on a more efficient European accreditation system to enable a sustainable quality infrastructure and strengthen the European Single Market.

EUROLAB is ready to work together with EU representatives and other CABs Associations in Europe to modernize the accreditation system by introducing reforms centered on openness, harmonization, and performance:

-Openness of the cross-border accreditation

-Strict harmonization of requirements

-EU benchmarking of NABs

-Encourage specialization and cooperation among NABs
