EUROLAB Participates in the 5th Meeting of the Gulf Committee for Laboratories in Riyadh

On September 18, 2024, EUROLAB, represented by its Secretary General, Laura Martin, took part in the 5th Meeting of the Gulf Committee for Laboratories (GCCLAB) held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The workshop, organized by the Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO), was an important platform for strengthening international cooperation between EUROLAB and GCCLAB.

During the workshop, Laura Martin presented an overview of EUROLAB’s structure, its collaboration with national and regional organizations, as well as its role in supporting public and private laboratories across Europe. The discussions focused on identifying opportunities to enhance the role of laboratories in the region and establishing a comprehensive action plan for activating the work of the GCCLAB.

The event also provided an opportunity to explore future cooperation between GSO, GCCLAB, and EUROLAB. Both organizations agreed to continue fostering collaboration and to align their efforts in advancing laboratory practices and mutual recognition frameworks.

EUROLAB looks forward to continued engagement and future joint initiatives with GSO and GCCLAB to support laboratories and further strengthen the global laboratory network.
