EUROLAB participated in the 2026 labsummit

EUROLAB is delighted to have participated to the 2026 labsummit event held in Coimbra, Portugal between 7-9 May. This leading international event brings together the global community connected to the laboratory sector to foster debate and knowledge sharing.

Secretary General, Laura Martin, gave a presentation under one of the 4 key pillars of the summit, COMPLIANCE, where she:

▪️ Gave an overview of the current regulatory EU framework including the New Legislative Framework (NLF), the Standardisation Regulation, Cyber Resiliance and AI Acts,

▪️ Presented the EUROLAB position on the NLF, including the Digital Product Passport (DPP)

▪️ Addressed the key challenges faced by labs and other CABs, highlighted the actions and projects EUROLAB is currently working on to support them.

We also had the pleasure to meet with our member RELACRE-Associação de Laboratórios Acreditados de Portugal, exhibitor at the event.
