EUROLAB is Recruiting: Communications & Policy Officer

The EUROLAB Secretariat is recruiting a Communications & Policy Officer to support its activities aimed at strengthening cooperation and exchange among its members and stakeholders. The successful applicant will work closely with the Secretary General, as well as the various experts within the member organisations, to promote and support the work programme of the Federation.

Starting date: January 2025


Responsibilities

· Support the work of the EUROLAB Technical Committee on Quality Assurance (TCQA) and the Working Groups – on Microsoft Teams platform;

· Engage & identify collaboration opportunities with key stakeholders;

· Coordinate and support the communications activities of EUROLAB (website, newsletter, LinkedIn, briefings, leaflets etc.);

· Organise online webinars, training and in-person meetings and events;

· Prepare presentations, short videos, visuals, graphics, etc;

· Follow-up and report on EU legislative proposals;

· Attend and report on meetings and seminars as appropriate;


Profile

· Fluency required in English (oral and written) and desirable in French;

· Previous work experience in relevant field;

· Master’s degree - preferred fields of study: Communications, Marketing, International Relations;

· Excellent writing, editing, oral communications, graphics and digital media skills;

· Quick learner who can easily adapt to the fast-paced workplace;

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

· Positive attitude, flexible, enthusiastic, energetic and motivated;

· Demonstrated interest in issues close to the laboratory field, including sustainability, food, energy efficiency, standardisation, metrology, etc.;
