Eurachem & Asociatia Eurachem-Romania scientific workshop, Eurachem Week

On May 26, EUROLAB Secretary General Laura Martin attended the Eurachem and Asociatia Eurachem-Romania scientific workshop, "Complex Matrices: Applications, Laboratory Standards and Accreditation" as part of Eurachem Week in Bucharest, Romania.

Laura presented “EUROLAB – a strategic approach towards the future,” focusing on the recently approved EUROLAB Evolutionary Strategy, a milestone in the future development of the Federation in representing European conformity assessment bodies. Other key pillars covered actions undergone by EUROLAB around sustainability, digitalisation, quality infrastructure, cooperation with European institutions and international stakeholders.

The topic of digitalisation was presented in detail by the Digitalisation WG member Edouard Salingros, who delved into the workstreams of the WG focusing on the revision of EUROLAB CookBooks and new training programs, the recently created EUROLAB – EURACHEM WG on Digitalisation, the EUROLAB survey on ‘Daily Pains of Labs in their digital transformation journey, and many more.
