AGRIFOODPLAST Conference
The AGRIFOODPLAST Conference will be held in Brussels on 8-9 April. It will gather world class scientists, relevant businesses, industries, and policy makers to share knowledge, and perspectives and discuss options for safer and more sustainable agrifood systems concerning the use and management of plastics and their waste.
The event will share the latest scientific findings on plastic, microplastic and plastic chemical additives in food systems and connect policy makers, European Union Commission officers, and international representatives of businesses in the plastic, agriculture, fish farming and fisheries industries.
The AGRIFOODPLAST Conference is an initiative from a consortium of independent scientists led by NIVA (Norwegian Institute for Water Research) working on national and European research on plastic and microplastics in agrifood systems. AGRIFOODPLAST is open to sponsorships from the following sectors:
