Today is World Accreditation Day 2021

TIC Council, of which EUROLAB is an Associate Member, has published today its new paper on Accreditation Principles.

This paper delves deeper into the value of TIC (testing, inspection and certification) conformity assessment services. 

Accreditation demonstrates that a conformity assessment body (CAB) has the competence to perform its services - testing, certification and inspection of products. TIC conformity assessment bodies ensure that requirements relating to a product have been fulfilled, and that consumers and other users have an understanding of the safety and quality of the product they are purchasing, and both TIC Council and EUROLAB fully support the use of accreditation to implement the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which is the aim and main theme for this year's World Accreditation Day.
