EUROLAB session at the Test & Measurement 2022 International Conference

We are glad to announce that EUROLAB will participate to the Test & Measurement 2022 International Conference, organised by NLA South Africa on 24-26 October 2022 in hybrid format.

The three-day Conference, titled “Laboratories never at rest. What can we learn from Sir Isaac Newton?” focuses on the need of the metrology field to adapt to the continuous challenges of the future. Self-calibrating sensors, the advent of digital calibration certificates, the applications of machine-learning and artificial intelligence as well as the use of reference data/big data instead of reference materials are becoming more common place. New ways to transfer knowledge such as distance learning and augmented learning are becoming a way of life, and the test and measurement sector needs to keep pace with these developments.

The EUROLAB sessionDeveloping an international cooperation. The Laboratory Sector in the post-pandemic era.” will take place on 24 October at 9:30 CEST.

The presentation by Laura Martin, EUROLAB Secretary General, will open with an overview of our activities, including cooperation with international stakeholders. The second part will point out key market insights in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) Sector, outlining the evolution of the TIC market during the COVID-19 pandemic and the support EUROLAB provided to its members during the health crisis. Final remarks will be made on EUROLAB activities related to “The Laboratory of the Future”.
