EUROLAB TCQA Workshop - Accreditation with Flexible Scope - Needs, Current Situation, Future Developments -
The proceedings of the workshop have now been drafted. Two versions are available : the proceedings (92 pages) as well as the Outcomes of the workshop (3 pages).

EUROLAB TCQA Workshop - Accreditation with Flexible Scope - Needs, Current Situation, Future Developments -
Over 50 participants representing 18 European countries, from numerous conformity assessment bodies, various industries and 8 accreditation bodies have attended the workshop held at the Technical and Test Institute for Construction in Prague on November 4, 2009.

It was organized by the Technical Committee for Quality Assurance and dedicated to the accreditation with flexible scope as the follow up of the workshop organized three years ago in Boras (Sweden).

The rationale of this fruitful workshop has been undoubtedly met: it was to exchange experience, to benchmark and promote good practices and finally to give input to the European Co-operation for accreditation, namely EA, in order to have a common and better understanding of flexible scope, and to promote and further develop it for the respective benefits of laboratory, client and accreditation communities.

EUROLAB National Members' meeting - November 3, 2009 in Prague (Czech Republic)
The National Members’ Meeting will be hosted by the Technical and Test Institute for Construction (TZUS), in Prague. This meeting is open to all EUROLAB’s members and invited guests and will precede the workshop entitled “Accreditation with Flexible Scope – Needs, Current situation, Future Developments”. This workshop will be hosted by the Technical and Test Institute for Construction (TZUS) in Prague http://www.tzus.cz/ The aim of the workshop is to give input to the European co-operation for Accreditation (EA) in order to promote and further develop accreditation with flexible scope. Starting with the situation laboratories were faced with three years ago when EUROLAB aisbl organised its first workshop on this topic in Borås, Sweden, the development since then, current tendencies and the laboratories’ expectations will be highlighted.
